We did the Ghosts and Good Times Girls tour through the saloon. Our guide Madame Trixie was absolutely amazing!! The tour was fun and bawdy, but I felt there was also a lot of respect for the hardships the women endured, along with how much they contributed to the building of southeast Alaska.

A fun and delicious experience!! I passed up this place last time as it was BUSY and thought it was a touristy gimmick and to some extent it is and same again this place was non stop with people in and out but with plenty of seating to wait for our table we requested a table with extra space for my mobility needs, this was fully looked after by the ladies thank you Server was friendly and had a photo with us, food was delicious and a great variety! I thoroughly recommend the quesadilla!! I’m glad I found the patience this time as it’s an iconic landmark for the town and is worth the visit.

We took the two hour walking tour and it was wonderful. We didn’t eat there because it was full and a line out the door by the time our tour was done, but the atmosphere seems to be lively.

So much fun! It opens at 9:30 am. The wait can be long but the food and service are great! Katie, our server, delivered excellent service and was amazing. Highly recommend the quesadillas and nachos. If you’re interested, there’s a 20 tour of the former brothel during the gold rush days.
